尋求招待所、拍片片場、展覽空間等多元機能的最大公因數(shù)！

空間，因應不同的使用方式，而被賦予定義，它可以包羅各式機能，也能承載更多彈性變化。在承接本案初始，定位上以住宅為主要導向，可供未來數(shù)年使用。而在住宅設計前期討論過程中，社區(qū)卻恰逢都更議題，因此“如何回應這個空間在未來幾年幾種可能的定位”成為了本案的設計導向。

Space is defined by its adaptability to various uses, accommodating a wide range of functions and allowing for versatile transformations. Initially conceived as a residential project catering to future years, our design approach took an unexpected twist during the early planning stages when the community was undergoing urban renewal discussions.As a result, the primary design focus of this project shifted towards exploring the potential roles this space could assume in the forthcoming years.

從原先沉穩(wěn)且機能較單一的住宅，轉換為機能多元可容納更多可能性的彈性空間；因應業(yè)主聚會需求及其家人從事媒體工作，因此以住宅為基底，延伸出招待所、拍片片場及展覽空間等機能配置，從上述幾種不同單元里，尋求空間使用上的最大公因數(shù)。

What began as a stable, primarily residential environment has transformed into a multifunctional and flexible area, capable of accommodating a multitude of possibilities. In response to the homeowner's requirements for social gatherings and their involvement in media-related endeavors, we expanded the residential foundation to include features like a guest house, a filming studio and exhibition space. Through the incorporation of these diverse units, our objective was to maximize the utility and usability of the space, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with various needs and functions.

設計重點1：開放空間×隱形隔間  形隨機能而生

Open space x concealed partitions – Form arises from function.

我們將原有格局打碎重組，以開放式場域，滿足聚會、影片拍攝及展覽需求。利用空間中存在的既有立柱，以此為中心，悄然劃分客餐廳區(qū)域；透過金屬包裹，嵌入洞洞板與圓弧平臺，并整合電源開關、設備面板等機能，建構一處多功能過渡區(qū)。

We deconstructed and reimagined the existing layout, creating an open and versatile space that caters to gatherings, film shoots and exhibitions. Leveraging the existing pillars within the space, we've subtly divided it, with these pillars serving as the central nodes for defining the dining and living areas. Through the strategic use of metal cladding, pegboards and curved platforms, we've seamlessly integrated functionalities such as power switches and equipment panels, establishing a multifunctional transitional zone.

設計重點2：現(xiàn)行需求×未來考量  減少材料浪費

Current needs x future considerations – Reducing material waste.

為滿足空間現(xiàn)行的多元需求，并因應未來面臨都更的可能性，因此在材料選配上，以拆除成本及視覺一致性為首要考量。全區(qū)以金屬和木紋做搭配，金屬呈現(xiàn)線條切削的輕薄利落感，而沉穩(wěn)木質則做為機能整合，兩者也恰好平衡了空間色溫。

In order to cater to the multifaceted homeowner requirements of the space and anticipate possible future renovations, the selection of materials was guided by an emphasis on cost-effective deconstruction and visual cohesion. Across the entire area, we meticulously selected a combination of metal and wood textures. The metal elements impart a feeling of modernity and sleek lines, whereas the intricate wood textures serve as practical integration components. This equilibrium also enhances the overall coziness and warmth of the space.

大門  Entryway

座落于封閉型社區(qū)的40年老宅，屋主希望整新門面，改以新穎視覺呈現(xiàn)，于是在不拆除既有磁磚的狀態(tài)下，選用綠色金屬洞洞板包復做為新的立面呈現(xiàn)。其色調與周圍植栽相連，搭配重新劃設的整面落地窗，日光透進凸顯自然氛圍。機能上整合電表、電信盒、空調外機于立面內，相偕照明規(guī)劃使其整體更顯利落通透，從外觀看來，象是一個方盒，裝載不同情境與各種可能。

Situated within a gated community, this four-decade-old residence underwent a facelift as the homeowner sought to present a fresh and modern look without removing the existing tiles. The solution involved using green metal pegboards to cover the facade while preserving the original tiles. This new choice of material complements the surrounding greenery and, combined with newly positioned floor-to-ceiling windows, allows natural light to flood in, enhancing the natural ambiance.

In terms of functionality, the vertical integration of electrical meters, telecommunication boxes, and air conditioning units into the walls, along with carefully planned lighting, ensures a sleek and transparent overall appearance. From an exterior perspective, it resembles a versatile container ready to accommodate various scenarios and possibilities.

玄關 Foyer

玄關以兩個矮柜與鋪面界定，整合鞋履收納、穿鞋椅、置物平臺等機能，其高度亦保持了通透視覺。此區(qū)做為場域選材的開啟作用，由室外金屬延伸至室內木紋，而矮柜便是兩種材質調整合下的產物，全區(qū)以此相互搭配，平衡空間中的冷暖輕重比例。

The entry foyer is characterized by two low cabinets and flooring, creating a versatile space for storing shoes, providing seating and serving as a platform for personal belongings. Its low height also ensures an unobstructed visual field of view. This area serves as the starting point for material selection, seamlessly transitioning from outdoor metal to indoor wood grain. The low cabinets represent the result of blending these two materials and they are consistently used throughout the entire space, balancing the contrast between cool and warm tones within the space.

客廳 Living Room

天花板的高度設定為此區(qū)重點，為了呈現(xiàn)全區(qū)的通透性與量體感，我們定義了三個高程——高天花為295公分，于客廳正上方處，除此之外，所有設備管線整合在265公分的低天花內，如吊隱式冷氣、全熱交換器、廚房排煙風管等，后透過225公分的一般高度，做為隱形線條，也是涵蓋所有生活起居機能所的高度范圍，同時以此同一高度貫穿餐廳、衛(wèi)浴、主臥，使視線達到一致性。

The ceiling height in this area plays a pivotal role in enhancing the spacious and voluminous appeal throughout the entire space. We have established three distinct elevations: a lofty ceiling at 295 centimeters directly above the living room, a lower ceiling at 265 centimeters, which incorporates the ceiling concealed air conditioning units, ERVs (energy recovery ventilation systems), and kitchen exhaust ducts and a standard height of 225 centimeters. This standard height acts as an invisible guideline, maintaining visual consistency across all living and functional areas, spanning from the dining room and bathroom to the master bedroom.

電視墻選用灰色晶石板施作，與金屬立柱色調相襯，而后方樓板下的儲藏間，住宅設計采用板料分割線做隱藏門，使視覺上維持干凈利落。電視柜以屋主提供之實木板材，與金屬材質加工整合，保有連貫的設計語匯。場域中擺放活動式家具，便于因應不同需求，進行彈性變動，我們刻意選以黑灰及木色家具，呼應整體色調氛圍。

The TV wall features grey SPC wall panels that harmonize with the color tone of the metal columns. A cleverly concealed storage room is hidden beneath the floor, with panel seams serving as a concealed door to uphold a clean and clutter-free visual aesthetic. The TV cabinet seamlessly combines solid wood provided by the homeowner with metal materials, ensuring a cohesive design language. To cater to diverse needs and facilitate flexible arrangements, modular furniture has been incorporated into the space. Specifically, we have chosen black-grey and wooden furniture to accentuate the overall color scheme and ambiance.

餐廳 Dining Room

空間中存在既有立柱，若不做任何處理，會形似畸零結構，因此我們以量體中樞為基準點，建構一多功能立柱，透過金屬包裹，嵌入洞洞板與圓弧平臺，并整合空調開關、線路插座等機能，于此串連客、餐、廚區(qū)域，當聚會來訪客人多時，也能搭配高腳椅，轉換為桌面做使用，使整體空間成為一體。

Within the space, pre-existing columns posed a challenge as they could disrupt the overall layout. To address this, the design team introduced a versatile central column that serves as a focal point. This multi-functional column features metal cladding, pegboards and curved platforms, cleverly integrating air conditioning controls, electrical outlets and other functionalities. This central element acts as a seamless connection between the living, dining, and kitchen areas and during gatherings with a larger number of guests, it can transform into a table by adding barstools. This versatile design element effectively unifies the entire space, adapting to various needs and occasions.

鄰近私領域一側，以柜門連貫而成立面，做為公私領域隔間；住宅設計柜體不做頂天，接續(xù)整體空間線條，達到視線水平一致性。界面在此發(fā)揮了三種功能——收納、展示與空間界定，我們利用彈性層板，滿足不同情境需求，并透過225公分的高度設定，使即便關上門，頂部仍然保持流通，不至于封閉，因此柜體同時保有通透與彈性，美型和機能兼具。

Adjacent to the private quarters, we established a continuous vertical surface using cabinet doors to function as a separation between the public and private zones. These cabinets do not extend all the way to the ceiling, preserving a consistent visual flow throughout the space. This interface serves three key purposes: storage, display, and defining spatial boundaries. We incorporated adjustable shelving to cater to diverse requirements and maintained a height of 225 centimeters. This design approach ensures that even when the doors are closed, there remains an open space at the top, preventing a sense of enclosure. Consequently, the cabinets maintain airiness and adaptability, effectively blending aesthetics with practicality.
